Heartbreaking comment paramedic made to Rob Reiner’s daughter after she found him dead



 It was on December 14, 2025, when Romy Reiner went to check on her parents in their Brentwood, California, home and encountered a haunting scene. Rob Reiner and wife Michele were dead, with their throats slashed.

According to TMZ, Romy told authorities that she believed a family member “should be a suspect” and that the relative was “dangerous.”

Not long after, her 32-year-old brother Nick Reiner was arrested in regards to the murders of the renowned actor and Hollywood film maker and his wife, a famous photographer.

TMZ also reported that Nick and Rob got into a heated argument a day prior to the murders at Nick at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party.


Nick, who is being held on $4 million bail and faces life in prison and possible death penalty if found guilty of killing his parents, has struggled with addictions since early age. He first went to rehab at the age of just 15 and ended up doing at least 17 stints in treatment, People reported back in 2016.

At one point in his life, he even became homeless after refusing to return to rehab. “I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun,” he shared with the magazine.

Allegedly, when Romy went to her parents’ house to check on them and found her father dead; she fled the scene in shock, not knowing that her mother was also dead.

Sources claim she only learned of her mother’s passing after speaking with a paramedic.


Rob Reiner enjoyed a Hollywood career that lasted more than 50 years. In addition to his successful co-starring role as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on All in the Family from 1971 to 1979 he has also found success as a director of movies like The Princess Bride, This Is Spinal Tap, and Stand by Me, the 1986 film version of Stephen King’s novella.

He was nominated for an Academy Award in 1992 for A Few Good Men. Apart from his cinematic endeavours, Reiner was also engaged in politics, and was a founding member of the American Foundation for Equal Rights.

Michele Singer Reiner went on to produce several titles such as Shock and Awe, Albert Brooks: Defending My Life, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, and God & Country.
